Police: Two fired shots into empty truck

Police in California said they are searching for two men who allegedly fired several rounds into an unoccupied pickup truck.

Santa Ana, Calif., police Cmdr. Ruben Ibarra said the truck's owner was wakened by gunshots at about 10:45 p.m. Wednesday and went outside to find his parked truck filled riddled with bullet holes, The Orange County Register reported Friday.

Ibarra said the shooters are believed to be two men between the ages of 18 and 30. They were described as between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall and dressed in black clothing.

It's unknown why they shot at the pickup truck, Ibarra said.

No injuries were reported as a result of the gunfire.
