Two subway riders were taken to a hospital after they were bitten by a man on a train in Queens, police said Wednesday.
The victims were attacked aboard a Flushing-bound No. 7 train near the 61st Street-Woodside Station at about 5 p.m. Monday.
Authorities said Reynaldo Hidalgo, 71, was bitten on the left thumb, and his grandson, 18-year-old Jose Velez, was bitten on the cheek and chest.
They were taken to Bellevue Hospital, where Hidalgo underwent surgery and Velez had seven stitches on his cheek.
