Authorities issued a warning to a Swedish prison doctor after he issued Viagra to a convicted sex offender who allegedly raped two women after his release.
The prisoner had a history of drug addition and sexual offenses, The Local said.
The doctor prescribed for the prisoner a five-month supply of sedatives and Viagra upon his release, the newspaper said. Two weeks after his release, the man allegedly attacked the women.
A medical examiner found the prescription and reported it to Sweden's National Board of Health and Welfare, which recommended that the Committee on Medial Responsibility warn the doctor, The Local said.
