Dolly the sheep, the first mammal cloned from an adult, went on temporary display Tuesday at the Museum of Scottish Country Life near Glasgow.
Dolly, who was stuffed after dying earlier this year, had been on display at the Royal Museum in Edinburgh and will be returning there, museum officials said.
The sheep caused an international sensation when she was born in 1996 at the Roslin Institute, where scientists had cloned her from the breast cell of a 6-year-old ewe. Dolly was put to death on Feb. 14 after developing a lung disease.
