Garmin Tactix is the new special forces GPS watch that is already becoming legendary amongst members of the armed forces says the Heart Rate Watch Company.

"The reviews we are getting are very good on this unit because it brings together a host of features that have never been attainable in one device before", says Rusty Squire, President of the Heart Rate Watch Company. He adds, "Barometric altimeter, Jumpmaster software, sunrise/sunset, moonrise/moonset, highly accurate GPS with precise coordinates and loads of features that nobody else can match".

Garmin Tactix has curved, non-reflective glass, a low glare backlight that won't flare out with night vision goggles, super rugged construction and is waterproof to 50 meters. "This watch is designed to be ultra-low visibility with maximum navigation, tracking and tactical features", says Squire.

Garmin Tactix can remote control a Garmin VIRB Elite camera. "I've been using my Tactix skiing and remote controlling my Garmin VIRB Elite camera, which is super cool", says Squire. He adds, "Having onscreen metrics on the film like speed, distance, temperature, heart rate or any other data from remote sensors is also very useful in analyzing conditions and performance".

For navigation and in the field use Garmin's Basecamp software is brilliant for military use according to Squire. He adds, "You can also use Garmin Street Maps just like with the fenix to get brilliant directions in any city in the world, which is important in a world where the battles are increasingly going metropolitan".

The Heart Rate Watch Company has furnished all active and retired US Military with a 10% discount. "Simply call us at 866-586-7129 to get your coupon code", says Squire.

Tactix works well as a fitness watch for a wide variety of outdoor sports like cycling, running, skiing and more. "You can use Garmin Connect software and get brilliant maps with heart rate, pace and distance data built in to a player function", says Squire.
