Obama, Clinton to Go on Trail Together

U.S. Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., may take attention away from Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama when they go on the stump, observers say.
ABC News reported Monday that Clinton and Obama will go on the campaign trail together Friday. The network reported that the two will hit the road together amid frustration among some Clinton supporters that the Obama campaign has not yet proposed a way for her to retire more than $10 million in campaign debt.
Even so, Obama has tried to make a public show of his respect for Clinton, analysts say.
In Detroit recently, some of his supporters in the crowd booed when Clinton's name was mentioned. Obama interrupted his speech to say: You up there! Sen. Clinton is one of the finest public servants we have in American life today.
