The World: Tanks Are Rolled In

A REGIONAL conflict involving Georgia and separatists in South Ossetia escalated this afternoon as it was claimed 150 Russian tanks and armoured vehicles had entered the breakaway province.
Georgian President Saakashvili said the military vehicles had entered South Ossetia. He also claimed Georgia had downed two Russian warplanes over its territory.
