John McCain, the presumptive Republican U.S. presidential nominee, plans to air an ad featuring comments by his Democratic rival's newly announced running mate.
Politico reported Saturday the McCain camp planned to go on-air with an ad featuring Democratic vice presidential hopeful Joe Biden, the senator from Delaware, praising McCain and questioning whether Democrat Barack Obama is ready to be president.
The ad features two video clips, one from an interview and the other from a Democratic presidential primary debate. Biden sought the Democratic presidential nomination.
He said during the Democratic primary that Obama would require "on-the-job training" were he to be elected president.
The McCain ad will air in "key states," the Arizona senator's campaign said.
