Roche says wins U.S. vitamin court case appeal

ZURICH (Reuters) - Swiss drugmaker Roche said on Wednesdaythat a U.S. Court of Appeals had ruled in its favor in theso-called Empagran case concerning accusations of vitaminprice-fixing.
The court said late on Tuesday that U.S. courts had nojurisdiction in the U.S. over claims of foreign purchasers ofvitamins.
"We are satisfied by the decision of the court of appeals,"Roche said in a statement.
