Lobbyist-bashing e-mail sent to lobbyists

A lobbyist-bashing e-mail by the campaign of Sen. Christopher Dodd, D-Conn., was sent to his entire fundraising list -- including lobbyists.
The e-mail, titled Those poor lobbyists,
depicts Dodd's resistance to special interests by listing anonymous complaints from lobbyists who failed to obtain a meeting with the senator, The New York Times reported Friday.
No one meets with Dodd,
the e-mail quotes one of the anonymous lobbyists as saying. He certainly isn't doing things to cater to the K Street crowd.
A link embedded in the e-mail takes users to a video featuring further quotes from lobbyists set to the background of childish crying.
The e-mail was sent to Dodd's entire fundraising list, lobbyists included.
Can you believe this idiot is sending this to lobbyists?
said one lobbyist who forwarded the e-mail to the Times.
