Counter-Protesters Head for Bush Ranch

Pro-war activists plan to head to Texas this week for a counter-demonstration to Cindy Sheehan's protest outside President Bush's ranch.
Deborah Johns of Roseville, Calif., the founder of Marine Moms of Northern California, will be heading a caravan. She believes it is important to the troops to show that Sheehan does not speak for the whole country.
If they catch wind of protests like these and know there is a division in our country, then it causes their morale to drop dramatically and they lose focus on the job they are there to do, Johns told the Press-Tribune of Roseville.
Sheehan, who lives in Vacaville, Calif., temporarily suspended her vigil last week to care for her sick mother. But her supporters remain at Camp Casey, named after Sheehan's son, who died in Iraq last year, and she has promised to return.
Move Forward America, a conservative group, has organized the You Don't Speak For Me, Cindy groups that are heading to Texas.
Johns is the mother of a Marine corporal who served two tours in Iraq.
