Over 15,000 Russian Internal Troops to Vote in Chechen Parliamentary Election

Moscow, 24 November: Over 15,000 Internal Troops servicemen will take part in the elections to Chechnya's Republican Council and People's Assembly, the Internal Troops press service told Interfax- Military News Agency on Thursday [24 November].
"Servicemen will vote at 25 polling stations, six of which are situated on the territory of the 46th Rapid Reaction Brigade of Internal Troops, deployed in Chechnya on a permanent basis," a press service official said. [Passage omitted]
Sunday's [27 November] election will see the participation of servicemen from the 46th Brigade and military commandants' offices, deployed in Chechnya on a permanent basis, the press service said.
