LETTERS TO THE EDITOR Another Bin Laden Tape

So the Bush administration starts to feel some real heat from its latest controversial activity the unauthorized spying on American citizens and suddenly another Osama bin Laden tape shows up, just in case anyone forgot what “evil” enemies the heroes of Cheney and Co. are fighting (“Bin Laden warns of attacks on the U.S.,” Jan. 20). Of course, the ever-reliable CIA claims the bin Laden tape is authentic, and we are told that nearly all of the video and audio from bin Laden received in the past have turned out to be authentic.

Just how can anyone be certain that these messages are authentic? The hoax perpetrated on the world by the Bush administration has got everyone fooled. *
