Energy Secretary to visit Iraq in near future
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. Energy Secretary Sam Bodman
said on Wednesday that he will soon travel to Iraq to meet with
that country’s oil and electricity ministers, as directed by
President George W. Bush earlier in the day.
“It will be in the relatively near future I would think,”
Bodman said, during remarks at an energy efficiency forum held
at the National Press Club. However, Bodman said no specific
date has been set.
