Video game maker Bungie will not be unveiling a new blockbuster video game title at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo, or E3.

Bungie, the creator of the popular video game Halo, said that it will not be attending the conference this year, which will take place June 5 – 7 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

A representative said on its official blog that the video game company had no plans of being at the conference this year.

“We’re not going to be at E3 in any official capacity this year,” Bungie confirmed on its blog. “Some of us will be there, lurking from booth to booth, but don’t expect any announcements.”

The studio is reportedly working on a new top-secret video game for Activision, but little information about the new game is known.

The Los Angeles Times reported that Bungie’s 10-year deal with Activision will see to create four “sci-fantasy, action shooter games, with the first launching in fall 2013.”

The contract says the first title, code-named “Destiny,” will appear on Xbox 360 and PC platforms, before eventually spreading to Sony’s PlayStation 3.
