Enterprise Wraps Season
Scifi.com — Production has wrapped on the second-season finale of UPN’s Enterprise, the official Star Trek Web site reported.
Cast and crew now go into a 10-week hiatus before gearing up for an expected third season of the Trek prequel series.
In spoilers for the upcoming finale, “The Expanse,” the site reported that it begins with an alien probe of unknown origin, which launches an assault on Earth.
Adm. Forrest recalls Enterprise, and Capt. Archer receives information that the attack came from the Delphic Expanse, a region of space notorious for bizarre occurrences.
Archer tries to convince Starfleet to let him take Enterprise into the Delphic Expanse.
The Suliban and the Klingons both play roles in the story.
“The Expanse,” written by Rick Berman and Brannon Braga, was directed by Trek veteran Allan Kroeker.
The finale airs on May 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
