Two ‘Lost’ Stars Arrested on DUI Charges in Hawaii

HONOLULU -- Two stars of the hit ABC television drama "Lost" have been arrested on suspicion of drunken driving on the Hawaiian island of Oahu, where the castaway thriller is filmed, police said on Friday.

Michelle Rodriguez, 27, who portrays Ana Lucia on the show, and Cynthia Watros, 37, who plays Libby, were stopped in separate incidents by police early Thursday morning.

The women were driving in separate vehicles in the town of Kailua and they both failed field sobriety tests, police said.

The two actresses were booked at the main Honolulu police station on suspicion of driving under the influence of an intoxicant and were released after each woman posted $500 bail.

Rodriguez is best known to TV audiences as Ana Lucia Cortez, the edgy cop who accidentally shoots a fellow castaway to death on the mysterious island where a group of plane crash survivors are marooned.

Her credits include a big-screen turn as a female boxer in the acclaimed independent film "Girlfight" and roles in such movies as "Resident Evil," "Blue Crush" and "The Fast and the Furious."

Her "Lost" co-star Watros plays Libby, a therapist who along with Ana Lucia was part of the smaller group of survivors from the plane's tail section. Watros previously co-starred on "The Drew Carey Show" as Drew's love interest.

An ABC spokesman said the network had no comment on the arrests. Representatives for the two actresses were not immediately available for comment.
