Afghan Farmers From Herat Province Visit Northern Balkh Province

A number of farmers and staff of the Agriculture Department from Herat Province visited Mazar-e Sharif today. They were warmly welcomed by Balkh province officials, Food and Agriculture Organization [FAO] officers and representatives of Balkh farmers and Balkh Agriculture Department at Mazar-e Sharif airport. The delegation is here at the invitation of the Balkh Agriculture Department. The delegation leader, Bashir Ahmad Ahmadi, said the following:

[Bashir Ahmad Ahmadi] As you know, FAO has a project in coordination with agriculture departments. We are here at the invitation of the Balkh Agriculture Department and FAO to visit agriculture farms, farms and farmers. We will exchange ideas and experiences about farming. I hope that we return successfully.
