ACS to Hold Its 234th National Meeting

The American Chemical Society Tuesday said it has scheduled more than 9,500 presentations for its 234th national meeting next month in Boston.
ACS officials said the presentations during the Aug. 29-23 meeting at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center and more than a dozen other hotels across the city will focus on new discoveries in chemistry, health, medicine, energy, environment, food and other fields.
More than 15,000 scientists and other professionals from around the world are expected to attend the meeting.
The American Chemical Society is the world’s largest scientific organization.
