At Least One Dead in Thai Ferry Capsize

At least one person died off the coast of Thailand Tuesday when stormy weather capsized a tourist ferry, it was reported.
An Israeli tourist was reported dead and another seriously injured when the ferry carrying about 60 tourists capsized during a daylong tour of local beaches near Maya Bay, The Jerusalem Post reported.
Many of the tourists were in the water for up to a half hour, said Israeli Army Radio’s Eran Seizer, who spoke with some of the 36 Israeli survivors.
The waters were stormy and everyone’s belongings were in the water, Seizer reported. They became hysterical Â… all of their belongings were ruined.
