Windswept Environmental Group Announces the Acquisition of North Carolina Restoration Firm

HOLTSVILLE, N.Y., Sept. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Windswept Environmental Group, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: WEGI.OB) is pleased to announce that it has acquired Environmental Restoration of North Carolina, through both the purchase of certain assets and assumption of certain liabilities. Environmental Restoration has locations in Greensboro and Wilmington, North Carolina, and has been providing disaster recovery and reconstruction services for fourteen years. In addition to their Disaster Recovery and Reconstruction Divisions, their Indoor Pollution Control Division specializes in the cleaning and decontamination of HVAC systems and associated ductwork. Environmental Restoration's name will remain the same, and the firm will become a fully-owned subsidiary of Windswept.
