Construction Job and Vendor Fair Scheduled for Belle Glade on September 13
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., Sept. 7 /PRNewswire/ — Workforce Alliance, the Palm Beach County School District, Palm Beach County and Palm Beach Community College will host a Construction Job and Vendor Fair in Belle Glade for local employers and job seekers on Thursday, September 13.
The Job and Vendor Fair will be held at the Dolly Hand Cultural Arts Center between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. with job and vendor opportunities being presented for the entire Glades region. The Fair is being sponsored by such businesses and organizations as SkanskaUSA, Moss Construction, W.G. Mills Construction, Barnard/Parsons, National Training, Palm Beach Community College Training Programs, the NAACP; and Zachary Construction.
The construction company partners represent major regional projects for future development including the new FPL Power Plant; the Glades Regional Hospital; the new Palm Beach County Courthouse/Jail complex; the Pahokee Football Stadium; and the Everglades Reservoir. Training programs and information will be highlighted to support the job creation supported by the projects.
