Iran: Tabriz Petrochemical Plant Output 50 Per Cent Up This Year

The director of the Tabriz petrochemical complex has said that 20,000 tonnes of products of the Tabriz petrochemical plant worth 20m dollars have been exported to 24 countries of the world in the past six months.
According to FNA, quoting the public relations department of the Tabriz petrochemical complex today, Alireza Sadri said that as a bridge between Asia and Europe, Turkey takes first place, having imported 8,000 tonnes of polymeric products from the Tabriz petrochemical complex. He added that Pakistan and China come second and third.
Alireza Sadri added that during the same period, 180,000 tonnes of petrochemical products worth 1,282bn rials [137m dollars] were handed over to related industries for use in different sectors within the country.
Sadri said that compared to the plan, the output of the Tabriz petrochemical has increased by 50 per cent in the current year.
