Science School
A TYNESIDE college is supporting the region’s ambitious Science City initiative with its latest facility.
Newcastle College has created a new School of Applied Science, which was spearheaded by its director Alan Bainbridge.
The vision for the school is a brand new facility which will be the catalyst for developing programmes in areas such as general manufacturing, aerospace, bio science, pharmaceutical, gas, oil, petrochemical, transportation, computing and sub-sea industries.
The school’s aims are to address the skills shortages, offer employers a relevant curriculum and provide learning opportunities for students of all ages.
