Her students love her focus on science discovery, which leads to many labs and hands-on activities. She has received a teacher initiative grant from the Memphis Rotary Foundation for a unit on Solving Crimes Using Real Science and Forensics.
In January, students will begin their Mission to Saturn, Exploring Titan with a grant from the TEA for Tennessee Space Week. Students will celebrate Tennessee Space Week Jan. 23-29.
