Coca-Cola North America’s Apopka concentrate facility has opened a $5 million wastewater treatment plant, which is designed to meet the water reclamation quality standards set by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.

The facility, which has around 180 employees and manufactures chilled and frozen beverage base concentrate for use in Minute Maid fountain beverages, will supply 27 million gallons of treated wastewater each year to support conservation projects.
