Tidal Today: Last week, Tidal Today's 5th International Tidal Energy Summit brought the Tidal community together in one place to celebrate the industry's achievements for 2011.

During this meeting, the industry selected the winners for the 2nd Annual Tidal Awards Ceremony and Tidal Today is now pleased to announce who they were.

Over the course of the three day event discussions revolved around the ROC banding decision in the UK and the ways in which this industry can move to establish economies of scale required to address current Cost of Energy (CoE) issue – primarily through collaboration & partnerships.

At Tidal Today’s event the question for 2012 and beyond is whether the CoE projections for tidal power can emulate the success of the wind industry in increasing power outputs and reducing CoE

On the evening of the 22nd November, Tidal Today was proud to host the 2nd Annual International Tidal Energy Awards Ceremony. From a carefully selected shortlist of companies under each category, the industry selected the winners of each as follows:
