SEMTech Solutions Expands its SEM Lab
Investment in equipment and personnel will strengthen the SEM Lab analytical services capability, which will provide added value for our customers.

SEMTech Solutions, a world leading supplier of used Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEMs) is pleased to announce the addition of Deborah M. Langlais as Vice President of our Analytical Testing Laboratory. Deb will manage the day to day operation of the SEM Lab and to ensure customer satisfaction. Additionally, she will bring changes to our laboratory, based on 30+ years´ experience managing an analytical laboratory, and as a former customer using laboratory services. Deb is very knowledgeable in a wide array of areas, including Environmental, Medical Devices, Metallurgical, Semiconductors, Composites, and best known methods, practices and laboratory procedures.
SEMTech Solutions has also acquired another scanning electron microscope for the SEM Lab, which will be equipped with a light elemental dispersive spectrometer (EDS) and Back Scattered Electron (BSE) detector for materials identification. The other existing SEM in the laboratory is high resolution imaging Field Emission SEM (FE-SEM).
In addition, a clean room flow hood has been added to the analytical laboratory. Many of our biomedical, pharmaceutical and semiconductor clients need to protect their products from contamination. The flow hood provides a dust-free environment that is ideal for sample preparation.
