Ask photographer Robert B. Warren the inspiration behind his new photo collection, “A Series in Nature II” (published by Trafford Publishing), and the skilled shutterbug will give you three: “the incredible beauty of land, sea and nature.”
Long an admirer of natural beauty, Warren showcases his attunement with the outdoors in “A Series in Nature II.” Filled with vibrant, full-color photographs, the book chronicles a culmination of seven years of traveling and photographing Guatemala and the Western United States, including Hawaii.
An excerpt from the preface:
In nature the concept of duality can be seen in its symmetry: from the molecular level in the blueprint of life: DNA´s alpha-helical structure, and in the mirror image structures of organic chemicals called stereochemistry. All life is made of chemicals. Even in the process´s of life, cellular division we see symmetry in meiosis and mitosis.
Warren hopes this new collection will inspire others to explore the outdoors.
“Most people either don´t notice nature or their lives are removed of nature,” says Warren. “I hope this book brings some sense of peace and inspiration to readers.”
