Bayer Contest Issues Call to Action: Tell Us Your Temprid “Save the Day” Story
Submissions now being accepted for top pest control success stories for a chance to win an all-expense-paid trip, plus free product or comprehensive marketing plan. Bayer also announces special savings on Temprid with summer promotional offer.

Pest management professionals now have the opportunity to share their triumphant stories of instances when they saved the day by tackling a pest problem for a family or business using Temprid® SC Insecticide. Environmental Science, a division of Bayer CropScience LP, will select the most compelling stories submitted, and following a vote from other PMPs, will award the winning professional with an all-expense-paid trip for four, plus a choice of 10 free cases of Temprid SC or a professional marketing package to help promote his or her business.
“Since the launch of Temprid SC Insecticide in 2009, we at Bayer have heard countless success stories about the product and its long-lasting effectiveness for severe pest problems,“ said Norman Barclift, general insect control product manager at Environmental Science. “Now it´s time for PMPs to share their Temprid triumphs for a chance to win a great prize package.”
Between now and July 27, 2012, professionals can submit their stories online at http://www.mytempridstory.com in the form of a 200-word essay or original video or audio file. Bayer will then select the top five stories and collaborate with the selected individuals to produce professional videos featuring their stories. All videos will be posted online and voted on by other PMPs. The winning submission will be announced in October 2012 and will be awarded with the following:
- All-expense-paid trip for four to New York, NY; Steamboat, Colo.; Orlando, Fla.; or Las Vegas, Nev.
- Choice of either 10 free cases of Temprid SC Insecticide OR a professional marketing package to help promote his or her business, including assistance with advertising, public relations and social media
To pay gratitude to pest management professionals for their client work, Bayer is also offering a discount for Temprid SC Insecticide. For orders placed from June 1 through July 31, 2012, pest management professionals can save $7.00 per bottle or $42.00 per case.
