What: The Wharton Seminars for Business Journalists announces it is accepting applications for its renowned program´s flagship program taking place October 21-24 on the University of Pennsylvania´s Philadelphia campus. Now in its 44th year, the program offers participants an opportunity to expand their business knowledge and increase their exposure to leading experts in a stimulating environment. Through intensive lectures and hands-on exercises, the program, led by the Wharton School´s most prominent professors, helps participants gain a better understanding of key business and economic issues.

Where: Classes are held on the University of Pennsylvania campus at Wharton´s Jon M. Huntsman Hall in Philadelphia, Pa. Participants are encouraged to secure lodging as soon as possible. More information is available on the Seminars home page.
Cost: For those not receiving a scholarship, the program cost is $1,495 (after August 31–$1,995), with a payment date of October 1, 2012. Financial aid is available.
Eligibility: Applications are open to those employed full time as a print, broadcast, or online business journalist for legitimate media companies.
