Imaging 411 Offers Maintenance Assurance on Kodak Scanner Contracts

September 27, 2012

National Service Provider to provide significant discounts and seamless transition to Kodak contract customers who wish to limit their exposure in the wake of Kodak financial uncertainty.

Long Island, New York (PRWEB) September 27, 2012

Imaging 411, one of the only national third party service providers that supports Kodak document scanners, has announced they will offer special discounts and incentives to existing Kodak contract customers concerned about the future of the company and Document Imaging division, which will be sold by Kodak. (The Wall Street Journal Aug 2012) The Scanner Assurance Now Program (SCAN) will be offered to existing Kodak contract customers until the end of 2012.

According to President of Imaging 411, Gary Armstrong, “We have heard from many of our partners in the channel that some existing Kodak contract customers would like to transition their scanner maintenance without any interruption of service or excess scanner certification fees. Since Kodak entered bankruptcy protection in January, some of their existing customers have expressed concern about the future of their multiyear service agreements. We think our SCAN offering will give those customers peace of mind and protection against service interruptions beyond their control.”

The program will cover existing Kodak scanner contract customers for the remainder of 2012 at no charge and without any scanner certification fees if they cancel their existing maintenance contract with Kodak and purchase a one year or multi-year service agreement from an Imaging 411 MVP Reseller.

“Imaging 411 delivers onsite, advanced exchange, and depot support programs for document scanners from Canon, Fujitsu, Eastman Kodak, and Panasonic,” according to Don McMahan, former V.P. Sales of Kodak. “We have had continued success this past year in growing our install base in the Kodak community and feel this additional protection for customers that are locked into longer term contracts is a great way to help transition these accounts to a more stable and predictable support environment. The enthusiasm and interest in the program has been very exciting to see.”
