Author and professor John H. Carman pens new book on the geological happening
A new look at the science of plate tectonics
Saint Cloud, Fla. (PRWEB) December 17, 2012
“When plate tectonics is viewed as a cycle, it can be imagined to start and restart with eruptions at the earth´s ride and rise system,” explains author and professor John H. Carman. To help explain to readers this geological occurrence, Carman pens his new book, “How the Earth’s Plate Tectonic Cycle Works: CMB Reaction”
In his new book, Carman offers a new thesis in the field of plate tectonics: that the actions of the massive plates upon which the world we know rests might act in cyclical ways.
The dynamics of earth´s plate tectonics are generally known to many as the source of volcanoes, earthquakes and the creation of mountains. “The idea that there could be cyclical involvement will serve as a solution to a major puzzle,” Carman says.
An excerpt from “How the Earth’s Plate Tectonic Cycle Works”:
“I disagree that an alloy of molten iron needs to be found when a heterogeneous mixture of iron-rich liquid and immiscible silicate liquid could explain a 10% decrease in ℠bulk density´ of the earth´s outer core.”
“How the Earth’s Plate Tectonic Cycle Works” links what he imagines to take place in the earth´s core, with that is happening on earth.
“It is a solution to a puzzle worth knowing.”
