Wastech Controls and Engineering Now Provides Solutions for Acid Waste Neutralization
Wastech Controls and Engineering now offers a variety of solutions for acid waste neutralization.
Chatsworth, CA (PRWEB) December 18, 2012
Wastech Controls and engineering offers off-the-shelf and custom solutions for acid waste neutralization. These pH neutralization systems are designed to be cost effective and are automated to neutralize strong acids without putting the operator at risk.
Wastech pH neutralization systems are specifically designed to handle strong acids, and to bring the pH level up until it is in compliance with your discharge permit requirements. Wastech designs and manufactures systems that neutralize both concentrated and diluted acids. Neutralizing strong acids requires careful engineering and planning. Neutralizing strong acids can generate considerable heat due to the exothermic neutralization reaction. This means that cooling coils may be required to remove the heat of reaction. In addition, Wastech carefully designs implementation and controls systems to handle these strong acids. Wastech systems can neutralize high concentration of sulfuric acid, and they can also handle inorganic acids in a variety of strengths.
In addition to neutralization systems, Wastech also offers pH adjustment systems. These systems operate in a similar way, but instead of being designed to simply neutralize the acids, they are designed to adjust the pH of the acids until they reach a specific pH. Wastech also offers heavy metal removal systems, fluoride reduction systems, solvent collection systems, pump lift stations, and a variety of other wastewater collection and treatment solutions. These systems are available in pre-designed, ready to install configurations or custom configurations made specifically for the customer´s needs.
