ChemStation Introduces Technologically Advanced Tanks

January 23, 2013

ChemStation’s refillable tanks not only save space in landfills, they provide Tank Telemetry with remote inventory monitoring and reporting solutions. No other tank offers information directly to a computer screen to monitor usage like this.

Dayton, OH (PRWEB) January 23, 2013

ChemStation is introducing new technology with their refillable tanks. Using Tank Telemetry, tanks can now relay information to computers. In real-time, information on the tank level, the daily usage, the optimum delivery cycle, the actual delivery cycle, the day and time of usage and refills, the people allowed to see the data, who gets notified of the alerts, and more can be delivered directly to a computer.

ChemStation´s Tank Telemetry option provides remote inventory monitoring and reporting solutions for their tank systems. Recently introduced, this unique inventory management tool allows customers to view tank level and demand forecasting information right on a computer screen. With Tank Telemetry, tracking usage is more efficient.

The weatherproof monitor uses cell phone technology and is designed for timed call-outs, both scheduled and event-driven anytime, day or night, 24/7. Alarm notifications can be set to notify users of low or critically low product levels. Historical data for usage trends can be analyzed and this technology has all but eliminated the need for emergency fills. Tank Telemetry is also a great tool for accountability with in-house audits.

One new customer suspected a product was not concentrated enough because he was using more soap per month than with his previous vendor. With Tank Telemetry installed, ChemStation discovered that a new employee who had not been trained was using twice as much chemical as he should have been. Tank Telemetry pinpointed the exact day and time the product was over-used, which also helped the company to identify an issue they had with the training of new employees. Without Tank Telemetry, it would have been impossible to figure out what happened.
