Software Company Anahata To Set Developers Working From Home

March 9, 2013

Software Company Anahata Technologies announces it will be encouraging developers to work from home.

Perth, Western Australia (PRWEB) March 09, 2013

On Friday 1 March, Pablo Rodriguez Pina, founder and director of the Perth (Western Australia) based software company announced the company will encourage software developers to work from home.

In the words of Pablo Rodriguez: “For a software developer, having a comfortable environment is of great importance. Here in Perth, for example, the average software developer working in the CBD takes forty five minutes to get to work or in other words, spends one and a half hours in transportation. Some developers need to take their kids to school or pick up them up in the evening. In some cases, trying to synchronise this with getting to and back from the city can add more minutes of waiting in between events.”

The director continued outlining other reasons for the decision: “Then there is the cost factor, developers who drive to the city or their workplace every day have to face regular expenses such as fuel, parking, car servicing etc. When it comes to carbon emissions originated from transportation, working from home is much more environmentally friendly than driving one´s own vehicle”

These are the reasons for the decision:

  • More time efficient – Developers will save time in transportation.
  • More cost efficient – Saving money in transportation and office space.
  • Environmentally friendly – Reducing carbon emissions originated from transportation.
  • Better lifestyle – Being able to spend more time with their families.
