TheHardwareCity.com Now Offering Solar-Powered Rain Barrel Pump System

May 30, 2013

RainPerfect Recycling System has 100-gallon Capacity per Charge

Issaquah, WA (PRWEB) May 30, 2013

Online retailer TheHardwareCity.com is now offering RainPerfect, a solar-powered rain barrel pump system that runs water through garden hoses for a variety of uses. The system, manufactured by Good Ideas Inc., can easily be set up with common household tools and produces a pressure output of 13 psi to handle pumping up to 100 gallons when fully charged.

According to Asha Rani, owner of TheHardwareCity.com, the RainPerfect barrel pump system delivers enough pressure for most low-pressure sprinklers, washing a car or for gardening.

“There are several benefits to this system,” Rani said. “Because of its solar panel and rechargeable battery, it does not need an electrical outlet and can be placed most anywhere and can be run day or night. In less than 20 minutes, it will twice drain a 55-gallon barrel of collected rain. On one charge, it can drain that barrel four times.”

Rani noted also that the RainPerfect pump system works with both fresh and salt water but cautioned that its use with any hazardous, caustic, corrosive or flammable liquids or vapors could result in damage to the product itself and to the surrounding environment.

“That surrounding environment includes the operator,” Rani said.

The RainPerfect pump system connects to all standard garden hoses, is adaptable to most styles of rain barrels and features harsh environment DC motor technology that has a proven record with more than 15 million units in use. The pump will fully charge with eight hours of sufficient sunlight, and it is recommended for best results that the solar panel be set up at noon when the sun is directly overhead.
