QUIZZICLE Releases New Technology To Monitor Web-Based Student Behaviors

June 18, 2013

E-Learning analytics help companies measure training effectiveness.

Hamden, Connecticut (PRWEB) June 18, 2013

Quizzicle is pleased to announce version 1.0 of CHRONNICLE, a behavior tracking technology that captures, analyzes and reports on all student interactions within the web-based training environment. Until now, teachers have been unable to review or evaluate student training behaviors in online courses. With CHRONNICLE, instructors gain detailed insight into each student´s web-based training experience including reading speed, interest in course content and assessment challenges or successes.

Learning & Development Managers will know if their students have read text, watched videos, listened to audio, “clicked-through” pages or guessed during assessments. CHRONNICLE provides guidance for training developers, managers and corporations by presenting a robust analytical picture of students and courses in user friendly dashboards that include downloadable reports.

Analyzed training experiences may be viewed from six available web reports detailing individual challenges or successes with course concepts or content. Training patterns are displayed as clusters of students plotted on Google Maps and are based on learner performance and location.

“We´ve spent five years building a tool to reveal web-based student behaviors to the online educator,” said Quizzicle President Peter Sorenson. “Now Remote Teachers can identify and support students based on their web-based training actions. This is especially important for companies training regionally, nationally or globally since it is likely instructors may never meet their student population.”

The wealth of analytics provided by CHRONNICLE allows Instructional Designers to identify which training activities are most successful with their students or what changes may be needed to improve the effectiveness of a course. Managers can use performance results to become more proactive in addressing topics or locations where training challenges are indicated. CEO´s and CFO´s can review data associated with comprehension and impact to help measure the Return On Investment (ROI) of their training initiatives.

CHRONNICLE is currently compatible with Lectora Publisher and Lectora Online. It can operate with courses hosted inside a firewall, with courses hosted on any Learning Management System (LMS), and courses not hosted on an LMS.
