Unblock Proxy Sites Tool restores censored proxy sites to the user

idcloak’s release of an Unblock Proxy Sites tool restores access to the best https proxy sites when they are blocked by local or state censors of the internet.

Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) July 03, 2013

idcloak releases a list of IP proxies that allow victims of high-grade internet censorship to unblock proxy sites which the censoring filters have closed off. IP proxies are far less susceptible to filter detection than proxy sites as they possess no website content, meaning keyword filters cannot identify their unblocking function.

“The trouble with the best proxy sites is that they are also the most widely known, and that means censors know to block them” says idcloak’s researcher, Robin Welles. “All users that suffer a restricted internet connection are forced to downgrade to smaller and inferior proxy sites that the censors haven’t discovered and blocked yet. Unfortunately, this band of proxies are built with little thought to usability. They are flooded with adverts and offer a limited range of functions or options. With the release of our latest IP proxy list, we are helping proxy users get back to the best HTTPS proxy sites.”

The Encrypt Page function, which can only be found in high-grade proxy sites, is another major reason users shun inferior alternatives. Encrypt Page adds a second layer of encryption to the SSL connection so all data can be conveyed back to the device with the utmost discretion. Such support is essential for sensitive web research and communications.

Even idcloak’s tool may itself be blocked by censors, however; as Welles explains, “All it takes is for one user to misuse an IP address and the whole public IP address range can be blocked – this means several proxies can be shut out at once. For this reason, we ask users of free proxies to respect they are using a public service and do their best to preserve the IP address reputation for the benefit of future victims of censorship.”
