Hard-Cover Catalog on Precision Motion Control Technology Launched by PI

July 15, 2013

PI's new hardbound catalog covers most PI and PI miCos precision positioning product lines, from long travel motorized linear translation stages to six-axis parallel positioning systems and from miniature piezo flexure nanopositioning stages to high-speed ceramic linear motors along with the associated drivers and motion control electronics. The 2014 hard cover catalog on precision motion control and piezo technology is now available from PI (Physik Instrumente).

Auburn, MA (PRWEB) July 15, 2013

In addition to product specifications, the high-quality-print book also contains fundamental information on several micropositioning and nanopositioning technologies; parallel-kinematic positioning basics; vacuum basics; sub-nanometer resolution measuring technologies; as well as a comprehensive tutorial on piezo ceramic motion technologies.

Download the Catalog: A PDF version is also available and can be downloaded at http://www.pi-usa.us/pdf/PI_Precision_Positioning_Stages_Complete_Catalog_2013-14.pdf.

Examples of product families covered in the new catalog:

+    Several types of ceramic linear motors (ultrasonic, stick-slip, piezowalk…)

+    Several types of motorized linear stages (linear motor, stepper motor, leadscrew / ballscrew)

+    Several types of piezo flexure nanopositioning systems (open / closed-loop, serial and parallel-kinematics, variety of feedback and driving methods)

+    Several types of parallel and serial kinematics positioning systems (SpaceFAB, Hexapod, stacked stages)

+    Precision positioning products for high-resolution microscopy

+    Several types of linear actuators (piezo, servo, stepper motorized)

+    Miniature positioning stages with different motor drives

+    Piezo ceramics / piezo actuators

+    Fast steering mirrors

+    Photonics alignment systems
