Hybrid Paytech and KoamTac Partner to Offer Full Enterprise Mobile Payment Solutions
Harnessing the power of KoamTac’s intelligent scanning technology with the security of Hybrid Paytech’s leadership position in mobile payment technology.
Princeton, New Jersey (PRWEB) July 23, 2013
KoamTac, Inc, has announced a joint solution partnership with Hybrid Paytech (Freeport Capital Inc: CNSX), to offer the next generation of intelligent and secure mobile payment solutions. The highly collaborative partnership promises a full range of enterprise solutions that address quickly-evolving international security standards for mobile credit and debit payments.
Hybrid Paytech will provide PCI-compliant transactional software to work with KoamTac’s scanning/card-reading hardware. Together, the companies’ solution satisfies customers using iOS, Android, Blackberry or Windows Phone operating systems. Hybrid’s software, which connects to existing merchant accounts, integrates easily with retail and enterprise ERP systems to allow for seamless payment processing. The joint payment solutions will turn KoamTac’s KDC400 Series transactional sleds into PCI-certified payment devices.
“While our barcode sleds with MSR paired with the latest smartphones and tablets already offer some of the industry’s most robust mobile payment solutions, our partnership with Hybrid Paytech allows us to address a broader range of enterprise customers who require PCI compliance,” said KoamTac President and CEO Hanjin Lee, Ph.D.
“Our clients have the added confidence of knowing they are harnessing the power of KoamTac’s intelligent scanning technology with the security of Hybrid Paytech’s leadership position in mobile payment technology. Our partnership is a win for KoamTac, a win for Hybrid Paytech, and most importantly, a win for our clients.”
Hybrid Paytech, a Montreal-based company, is one of the first mobile payment companies that have developed PCI-approved debit and credit applications over four consumer-based mobile operating systems. “The partnership we have formed with KoamTac provides great leverage and value for both companies,” states Kevin Conabree, Head of Global Partnerships at Hybrid Paytech. “In a business climate where mobile payments are in high demand and growing quickly, we can aid KoamTac in finding new verticals for their highly-regarded products, and in turn, create more growth in our product offering within enterprise markets.''
