Growth Engineering’s Learning Management System Ranked 2nd in the World

January 17, 2014

After an extensive reviewing process that saw 580 different platforms undergo scrutiny, Growth Engineering’s Academy Platform LMS has placed 2nd in Craig Weiss’s 2014 list of top Learning Management Systems, making it 2nd in the world and number 1 in Europe. The report highlights the ‘modern, crisp user interface’ of the Platform, the fact that it’s ‘fun to use’ and that it ties ‘gamification into succession planning.’

Learning Management Systems are software used to deliver, monitor and report on online learning courses. Growth Engineering’s LMS is also the only platform in the list with full gamification features – such as badges, awards and leaderboards – making it the world’s best gamified learning platform.

Craig Weiss, who releases his ‘Top LMS’ lists every year, is a recognised eLearning expert and thought leader on all things online learning. He has been named the second most influential person in the world for eLearning, and his blog – http://www.elearninfo247.com – is read in 133 countries.

Growth Engineering’s success can be attributed to their client partners, who continue to push the Academy forward and have a demonstrable passion for learning and development within their organisations.

Juliette Denny, Growth Engineering’s Managing Director, said: “Amazing! Our goal is to shake up the eLearning landscape and revolutionise learning, making it fun again, so it’s fantastic to be voted the 2nd best LMS in the world and the number 1 gamified LMS in the world!”

This ranking follows on from a very successful 2013 for Growth Engineering, where the company received two Brandon Hall Gold awards for ‘Best Use of Learning and Talent Technologies’ and ‘Best Program for Sales Training and Performance.’ Last November Growth Engineering were also awarded Silver in the ‘E-Learning Development Company of the Year’ category at the E-Learning Awards in the UK.

Juliette added: “We’ve got so many exciting plans for the future – like our upcoming Authoring Tool, Genie, and our rapid international expansion, with offices and clients in other countries – and we won’t stop until the world realises that eLearning doesn’t have to be dull and boring. We’re going to war and we’re fully armed!”
