Futaris Celebrates the Last Great Race by Lending a Helping Hand
Company to Provide Mobile Radios as a Community Service for the 2014 Iditarod
Anchorage, AK (PRWEB) February 27, 2014
Futaris, honors the Anchorage frontier spirit by donating mobile radio equipment to the 2014 Iditarod. The event known as “The Last Great Race” commences this week on March 1st, 2014. The 78-year-old Alaskan tradition celebrates the indigenous people and the bond they have with their land.
Futaris is a trusted provider of Land Mobile Radio (LMR) services and is a Motorola Authorized Dealer. The weather conditions during these events can be extreme, and two-way radios offer a reliable method of communication. Event coordinators will be utilizing the donated radios for communication at the start of the race in Anchorage. Futaris has donated two-way radios and personnel staff to these events for the last several years.
“Futaris is honored to be involved in such an esteemed Alaskan tradition. We are proud to donate our services and staff to ensure another successful year for the Iditarod,” stated Futaris President and CEO, Dan Boone.
