August 10, 2014

Innovative Solar Systems, LLC has found that the newly approved 35MW Solar Farm project in Robeson County is optimal for many investors due to size of capital required, lower installed costs and reduced operating costs.

Asheville, NC (PRWEB) August 10, 2014

Innovative Solar Systems, a large developer of solar farm projects based in Asheville, NC has recently received approvals on a 35MW (AC) solar farm to be built in Maxton, NC. This state of the art solar farm project will incorporate 120,000 solar PV panels on almost 200 acres of farm land. The benefits of this project to the community are many including the addition of jobs and tax base to Robeson County. The solar energy plant will provide enough clean electricity to power about 10,000 homes in that area. Construction on this project will begin just as soon as the contracts are signed with the buyer for this project.

Company CEO John Green of ISS states that this solar farm will employ some of the most sophisticated string inverters currently approved for Utility Scale Solar Farm operation and that this project will be one of the companies showcase plants when completed. ISS has many projects being sold to solar panel manufacturing companies these days as it just makes better economic sense for producers of large volumes of solar panels to have a home for panels. Many solar panel companies are providing the financing for solar farms these days if the company’s panels are ultimately used on the project. This scenario is a win/win for the panel company and the ultimate buyer and owner of the solar farm project.

ISS has grown to become of the largest developers of solar farm projects in the United States with approximately 1GW of solar projects to be built in North Carolina over the 2014 and 2015 calendar year. ISS is currently developing renewable energy projects in six other states where incentives make the financials pencil out for solar. The company understands that most investors require a minimum threshold of around $50,000,000 for renewable energy investments and thus 35MW projects fit this bill nicely. John Green, CEO of ISS states that most buyer inquiries at his company involve needs by buyers for 35MW size solar farm projects or larger. The entire economics for renewable energy just work better when you are dealing with larger projects states Green.

Innovative Solar Systems has become known as the gold standard for solar power generating plants in the U.S. Our projects are better by design and thus provide better returns for our client’s states the company. ISS has become a world leader in providing clean, green, renewable energy and for that the company is proud states the companies managing partners. Making a difference in the world and providing a cleaner, healthier world for our children should be the goal of everyone states the company’s President and CEO.
