October 30, 2007
HEBER CITY — Searchers recovered the body of a 43-year-old Clearfield man believed to have drowned Saturday at Jordanelle Reservoir.
Wasatch County sheriff’s deputies said the man was fishing alone on an inflatable boat on Saturday. Fishermen on shore noticed an empty boat and reported it to state park rangers. The man’s body was pulled from the reservoir by search and rescue workers that evening.
Rangers said the man was not wearing a life jacket. The victim’s name has not been released pending notification of family members.
