The North Museum of Natural History & Science will hold Mad Science Weekend Nov. 9-11.

The program will begin that Friday at 7 p.m. with a presentation by Darryl Lee Baynes, founder and president of the Minority Aviation Education Association.

The program, featuring experiments, will be held in Room 200 of Kauffman Hall, on the campus of Franklin & Marshall College. Tickets are $5 and are available in advance at the North Museum or at the door.

Baynes will also give presentations on Saturday at 11 a.m. and 12:30, 2 and 3:30 p.m. The demonstrations are included with museum admission.

Visitors to Mad Science Weekend can also observe and participate in a variety of scientific experiments, including those conducted by members of Millersville University’s American Chemistry Society. Visitors can also see Beakman’s World On Tour, a traveling exhibition that opened at the museum on Sept. 22.

On Sunday, Deb Scott will make a presentation on illusions at 12:30, 2 and 3:30 p.m.

The museum is located at 400 College Ave. Admission is $7 for adults, $6 for juniors ages 3-12 and seniors, and free for children age 2 and under. For more information call 291-3941 or visit www.northmuseum.org.
