Iran: Tabriz Petrochemical Plant Exports Products to 25 Countries

Tabriz, 7 November: The Tabriz Petrochemical Plant has exported 22,000 t of polymeric products worth 28m dollars to 25 countries of the world over the past seven months of this year, the Iranian news agency Fars has reported.
According to a report filed by a Fars correspondent, the public relations department of the Tabriz Petrochemical Plant has announced that Turkey, Pakistan and China are the major purchasers of the plant’s products.
Turkey, Pakistan and China have exported polymeric products [of the Tabriz Petrochemical Plant] to the markets of Southeast Asia and Europe.
Fars news agency said that during the same period, 405,000 t of various petrochemical products were produced.
A total of 205,000 t of products of the Tabriz Petrochemical Plant, worth 1,453bn rials [nearly 157m dollars], were handed over to domestic industries in the country, which is an increase of 16 and 45 per cent in terms of value and weight compared to last year.
