Earthquake hits off Mariana Islands
HONG KONG, Nov. 12 (Xinhua) — An earthquake measuring 5.9 on the Richter scale occurred near south of Mariana Islands at 0032 GMT Monday, according to a bulletin released by the Hong Kong Observatory.
The epicenter of the quake was initially determined to be 10.4 degrees north latitude and 145.7 degrees east longitude.
