Julian Lennon is Newest Resident-To-Be at The Ritz-Carlton Club and Residences, South Beach

Posted on: Monday, 26 November 2007, 15:00 CST

MIAMI BEACH, Fla., Nov. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Julian Lennon, son of Beatles icon John Lennon, has purchased a residence at The Ritz-Carlton Club and Residences, South Beach, further cementing the development's status as one of the most luxurious real estate offerings on Miami Beach.

Lennon, who recently produced an award-winning documentary and is working on a sixth album, plans to split his time between his new Miami condominium and his home in Europe.

"Miami Beach is one of my favorite places, and I am excited to own a residence here," said Lennon. "I travel quite a bit and the service The Ritz- Carlton offers is incomparable. To now have it at home, will be fantastic."

The Ritz-Carlton Residences are luxurious condominiums featuring the company's legendary service. Lennon's 1,800 square foot, two-bedroom and three-bathroom residence is located in the development's 17-story North Tower with breathtaking views of the ocean from an expansive terrace. The residence also features a fully-equipped kitchen with Snaidero Italian cabinetry and state-of-the-art appliances from Sub-Zero and Miele. Prices for two-bedroom residences start at approximately $2 million.

Currently under construction and scheduled for completion in late 2009, the development will include the preservation of one Miami Beach's most significant architectural contributions - the Seville Beach Hotel. Built in 1955, the hotel's heyday coincided with the excitement of the Beatles and Miami Beach's rise to a glamour capital.

Planned community amenities include dedicated concierge services, a fine dining restaurant, in-residence gourmet dining, a full-service Ritz-Carlton spa and state-of-the-art fitness facility, and a beachfront experience encompassing five pools, three whirlpool spas, The Ritz-Carlton's signature cabanas, and a pool bar and grill. Lennon also will enjoy the private resident lounge, a recreation of the former hotel's legendary Matador Supper Club, once visited by the likes of Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra.

The Ritz-Carlton Club and Residences, South Beach is being developed by luxury hotelier Lionstone Development, which owns The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach and is co-developing EPIC Residences & Hotel in Downtown Miami; and Fortune International, luxury developers of Jade Residences at Brickell Bay, Jade Ocean and Jade Beach, Artech and Le Meridien Sunny Isles Beach.
