Founder, Chairman and CEO of Enid-Based Continental Resources Honored

Harold Hamm, founder, chairman and CEO of Enid-based Continental Resources, has been named the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2007 national award winner in the Energy, Chemical & Mining Category.

Hamm was recognized for turning his small, one-truck oilfield service business into a major independent oil and natural gas exploration and production company, with operations in the Rocky Mountain, Mid-Continent and Gulf Coast regions of the United States He was honored as the national winner in the Energy, Chemical & Mining Category at a ceremony in Palm Springs, Calif.
